The DuoTec FAILSAFE transmitters and power supply units developed by M\u00fctec Instruments GmbH are proven for many years and have now been supplemented by the new MSK200-DX<\/a> transmitter for voltage monitoring from 0-1000 V.<\/span> The redundant measuring input for self-monitoring guarantees reliable detection errors.<\/span> In addition, the limit value monitoring enables safe pre- and main alarm messages.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With the ability to measure voltages up to over 1000V, our SIL2 voltage transmitter is suitable for use in test facilities for various future technologies such as e-mobility, battery technology and hydrogen<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

DuoTec safety concept according to SIL 2 requirements<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

The redundant structure and other measures in the transmitter ensure a high level of self-monitoring and thus meet the SIL2 requirements according to IEC 61508. The basis for the safety concept and certification by T\u00dcV is 2 microprocessors that, in addition to processing measured values, perform constant self-monitoring in the entire functional area. These are e.g. the measuring circuit, the output circuit, the auxiliary power, the relay contacts and the hardware and software itself. If an individual diagnosis is not plausible, the system reports itself and triggers an error alarm, whereby the opening contact (closed current) is available for further use. A current error is indicated by a red error LED on the front of the device, a past error by a flashing LED on the device.<\/p>\n

WinSmart software enables flexible configuration and diagnosis<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

In addition, the WINSMART software shows the type of error in an integrated diagnosis manager in “Current error” and in “Error memory”.<\/span> This ensures that even short-term errors, such as<\/span> loose contacts are localized.<\/span> The devices can be configured and parameterized with a notebook via the RS232 interface on the front or via the RS485 bus from the control room.<\/span> The WINSMART software is very clear and very easy to use.<\/span> Input parameters, all output data, the 3 limit values, tolerance ranges, measurement accuracy, filter times, etc. can be set with a simple click.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

DuoTec-FAILSAFE is certified by the T\u00dcV as having “a high-quality device concept in terms of overall safety”.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
